ČEMU KOMENTARI, OVD’ RAZLIČITE VJERE I KULTURE DIŽU SLOŽENOST NA SKALI
Five years after being born in Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Elvedin Halilovic migrated with his family to Luxembourg city, where he still lives today. Besides his avid passion for football, Elvedin developed an interest for other intercultural exchanges, occasionally assisting non-profit associations by giving them a helping hand in the organisation of events. This all began by becoming a member of the association Nouvelle Bosnie. Nowadays, Elvedin studies economics in Metz, whilst simultaneously working at a cinema in Luxembourg city. In his free time, under the pseudonym Lebong, he produces songs together with other rappers and musicians. The discovery of common interests led to the foundation of the project PROVINCIJA, with group members from Bosnia and Luxembourg. The beats to which LeBong “speeds at 200 km/h” are mostly produced by Swinx, Wispo and Nikkel K.
The quote chosen for La face cachée des mots is taken from the track Novi Kolac (New Cake). Whilst the protagonists of this song attempt to convince the listener via eclectic flows and metaphors recognisable on the hip-hop landscape, the selected quote explains the core of the group members’ cross-frontier unificatio.
